The calculator is going to assume you want the bed completely full of plants from edge-to-edge. Our customers usually prefer a little space along the front or back so the plants aren't growing into the adjacent lawn area or over the sidewalk. We recommend stopping by the Garden Center and talking it over with us to make sure the calculator isn't overestimating the number of plants you need.
